Digital backdrop?  What's that?

A digital backdrop is an image file used to replace a background in a photograph.

How does one go about inserting a digital backdrop? 

It's quite simple.  Digital backdrops are contained on a CD or DVD, which you can pop right into your computer.  Using photo editing software, you can "mask" or "extract" a subject from a photograph, then place the subject over your desired background. 

What kind of photo editing software is required?

Our digital backdrops can be used with a wide range of software.  Some compatible programs include:

• Corel Paint Shot Pro
• Corel Draw
• Microsoft Picture It. 

Do I need any additional equipment, such as a green screen?

No.  All you need is a computer, your choice of photo editing software, and an active imagination.

What is contained on a digital backdrop disk?

Each volume of digital backdrops contains 30 uncompressed digital images (300 dpi with 3000x2400 resolution), a beginner tutorial, and a print resolution chart. 

Can I use digital backdrops with Windows and/or Mac?

Our digital backdrops are compatible with both Windows and Mac.

Who can use digital backdrops?

Anyone with a computer and photo editing software can use digital backdrops, from a seasoned pro to a novice photographer.
